God knows what I need ....

Some fun time with the Sica kids! Anmarie & Jonathan having a noodle fight!

BJ being lazy and eating under the table!

I surprised them by taking them on an adventure to the Everglades for an airboat ride. This was a first for Jonathan & Maria.

Waiting for their airboat ...

This gator came within 2 feet from the boat. The kids were excited!

From the Everglades to Hollywood Beach.

Jonathan at the airport to fly to visit his grandparents.

BJ thanking Anmarie for all the love and attention she gives to him.

David punishing Maria by tickling her! Needless to say, my time was way too short being with David, Anmarie, Jonathan and Maria. It was great to see Christ at work in their lives! Thanks for putting up with me as I needed some 'kid time'!

It's Ben fun...

Hey! What time is it? 3 am? Is it time to eat yet?

What do you mean? It's 2 am? I'm awake now..."HEY! MEMOO, WAKE UP!"

I give up ... (sigh!) ... she won't wake up! I guess I'll have to wait!

Today, I passed Benjamin into the arms of our foster mom in Orlando, where he will stay until his 'forever family' arrives. It was sad to let him go, but I look forward to a full nights rest! Simply having the opportunity to have him those few days to care for, love and pray over him knowing that God has great plans for him is something that I shall always cherish. Please keep Baby Ben in your prayers, that God would bless him with a Christian family and he would come to know and love Jesus as his Savior.
Good night and sweet dreams Benny!

It's Benny Time ....

Sound asleep with Tiger and his blankie. Thank you Levi for sharing with baby Ben. Tiger is happy to be next to Ben...look at that smile on his face!

Baby Ben is tiny compared to Lukes 'Great white bear' and Abbys 'loveable pink hippo'.

Sugar stopped by to meet Ben. She spoke softly and tickled his cheek...but he wouldn't wake up!

Catching some ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz's in the sun. Look close and you will see how hairy he is...on his arms, back and even his legs!

All Benny does is eat, sleep, poop, pass gas and sleep some more. He moans and grunts in his sleep. Here he is was snoring!

Mo..Mo..Mo..

"Hi Mommy!" Check out this 'mo-hawk!' It's a natural one! I call her "Mo".

Side view of the 'mo-hawk' ... this little sweetie is waiting for her family go come and get her.

Friday Night Live! St. Andrews PCA, located at 500 N Park Road in Hollywood, FL is celebrating its 50th anniversary with special events throughout the year. Here we have a limited edition of anniversary mugs...being sold for $3. For additional information and future events, visit www.StandrewsPCA.com

We enjoyed the 'cool music' on a hot summer night with the Jazz Quarter. Many neighbors and visitors in the community attended the celebration event as they indulged themselves with fancy desserts, coffee, and fellowship.

It's "Ben" awhile..... since I had a baby! It's Big Ben and Baby Ben! I have Baby Ben for a short time. Big Ben spent the day with Neena, swimming, baking an apple pie, running errands & enjoying each other. He got his stitches out yesterday.

Baby Ben sleeping! Isn't he precious?

Willkommen dat Wein!

"Es ist schon, Sie zu sehen!"
Greetings from Vienna! We traveled all day and finally arrived! We toured the town to see all the sights and this is what we found! ...

From quaint Vienna to Plains where they grow large peanuts and the 39th president of the United States!

Main street USA ... the only street!

Just think...I walked where the president walked! I ate peanuts where he has eaten peanuts! I crossed the same tracks that he crossed.... WOW! I could of had a V-8!
Our adventures continue! auf Wiedersehen! :)

Our visit with Gary & Lura Grimes ...

We were greeted by Mr. Cat when we arrived to the Grimes in Alexander City, Alabama. He thinks (I think) that he is a watch dawg. He stayed very close to Laura and Gary during our stay.
Mr. Fat Cat!

He watched every move ...

... and listened to the chatter and laughter of women!

After dinner, he stretched out and said, "I can't believe I ate the whole bowl!"

Laura took us to see their daughters (Linda) lake front summer home. They recently purchased this 4BR/2 bath 'cabin' on the lake and are in the process of cleaning, painting and having fun decorating. This sign says it all!

Laura pointing to sights for Lyn to see at Point Windy.

You can see how low the lake is due to the drought AL is experiencing.

Other views from Point Windy...

We enjoyed the cool breeze while visiting. It was nice and quiet at the lake. I'm sure Lindas family will create many memories here. Simply getting away from the "city" to enjoy down time with family and friends.

Meanwhile back at the house.... her majesty takes over the bedroom...

And moves right next to Gary!

"I refuse to look at you with my big beautiful blue eyes!" Darn cat! Every time I tried to capture the picture, she would look away or move her head.

Gary enjoyed breakfast in bed surrounded by women! He had fun hearing all the "girl talk" and catching up on those they left behind in FL. Gary is doing well and added much to the conversations! It was great to see how God is using them in Alex City. They are involved in their church with Bible studies and Wednesday Night Suppers. Gary started his own nursing home ministry where he visits weekly. The residents are encouraged and glad to see him. We greatly appreciated their hospitality in their southern home.

Sorry Laura & Gary...I didn't get a good picture of the two of you together! People are going to be talkin 'bout cha!
